Champions Tea
Currently, only 27% of people living on the streets have access to professional support services within a 4 km radius. The Champions Tea was a fundraising event hosted by U-turn in partnership with South African Comedian, Nik Rabinowitz’s. He’s unique blend of humour and wit along with graduate success stories – helped fundraise toward the 1 million mark with 120 people in attendance, to provide accessible Support services. Alongside all the fun was a live installation of the Map on Cape Town South Africa, and all it’s homeless hotspots.
